You must be awarded 95 points to be honored with our Award

The journey is complete now you must rest for a period of 7 days upon the 8th day we will notify you with the results of your finished journey The first visit

We will evaluate all sites within a 7 day period. You will be notified upon the 8th day with our results pending your site is not placed on 'hold'. We reply with results to both winners of the Dove Award and those who must try again. This way they will know how to prepare for the journey the next time. You will recieve POINTS from both ordinary visitors and judges.

1.[Application] by submitting the application your are subject to the terms of use including screen shot and right to post our grapic and links. At anytime you agree to remove our posting if asked to by our panel . The Dove Award graphic and the Dove Award Program are copyrighted and used only by permission to those who are honored with our award. In no way can materials from this program be used without prior permission. Your notification is permission to use only our award Graphic and link to us.

2. Initial Visit-[ pre-screen visit-we will come to your site to make sure that your site is family friendly and safe for our panel to come and visit. We will make sure that you fall within all our Criteria of our program. This visit also cover's 'the basics' throughout your site. This is also the first time that your site may be put on hold or disqualified.

Just a small mistake found If we find a problem we will notify you and give you time to correct the issue. You application will be placed on hold' for 7 days. We want to work with you as you travel to 'make the difference. If 7 days is not long enough for you to correct the problems please contact us with the reason and you may recieve a extension.]

3. The First Visit: The first visit by our team will be done after the all clear is given to them by the judges. The visitor will come and visit at different times and days according to there availablity. One by one they will come and go through your site spending hours in research to see if your site stands out above other sites dealing with the same mission or subject matter your site is about.

4. The Second Visit Panel- This is the main part of our program the very heart 'lasting impression.our team again will return to your site as a group, together communicating about materials, graphics, articles, points of interest, and 'come' together as a team voicing their opinions and comments about your site. Together now they will discuss the point values according to our set points for lasting impression. The points from the visitor panel is 0-50 and the judges 0-20 so a total of 70 points is awarded according to "lasting impression"

Second Visit Judges: The judges will come and look at your site for design [Code] Your point value here is 0-45. Navigation 0-5. Plus bonus points will be added in this review. The point values can be found at our Worksheet page within our program. This includes navigation. The visitor panel will determine ease of use [navigation] in the final visit to your site. This gives them the whole week to navigate through your site with a hands on to determine ease of use for them.

5. Finally the Third and last visit to your site. The reason the navigation is last is because we want the visitor panel to go through the site hands on and then determine together the' Ease of use". The panel will return again for the third time and issue points for navigation according to their ease of use going through your program. It is different from how the judges view it. The judges give the point values upon their second visit to your site. It is not based upon code or proper web site design, the panel issues points according to 'hands on" how just a surfer see's your navigation. Judges points are 0-5 and the visitor panel is 0-10. Since all web sites are targeted for the visitor we believe the greatest points must come from them who visit. The judges and panel will get together and discuss the total points from all the visits.

Notification: If you are awarded "The Dove Award " You know that your site has MADE THE DIFFERENCE.

You will recieve a e-mail from us along with feedback, and terms of use, and the posting of the award and screen shot. There are two graphics for you to choose from. A link to our program should be placed within a 7 day period.
