From the valley's and hills of West Virginia come some of the most interesting and important history making events, people, and places. Sharing knowledge is very important in any culture. WIthin the following pages you can travel back through the history porthole and explore historical facts about many interesting subjects.
There are hundreds of pages of pictures, articles, and materials to which many are dealing with the area of Wheeling, and my state West Virginia. My history porthole deals with many other subjects than my home town area, from the Roman Empire, to lighthouses, Civil War ,history on musical subjects, a train area like going to another web site filled with information about trains, history of Wurlitzer, biblical musical instruments, and many Christian resources from birds of the bible to the genealogy of Jesus Christ. This site will continue to add new information as the months go by so stop back and visit often.
If you are looking for reference or resource materials they are here, if you are looking for our Award Winning Music programs teaching children the Bible using Music they are here.....follow the Program Porthole.
For children to walk in the path of today I believe it is important for them to understand the journey of how others paved the roads for their journey now and in the future. I believe it is important for us to teach our children our history, for it is the gateway to their future.
How many people visiting a site will take time to read about those who should be given credit.
Thank you to the many author's, owners of articles and materials within this site. The materials on this site remain the property of their respective authors and owners.

The Windows [Portholes as I call them] bring new light on historical facts, that you will open to historical events, people, places. Hundreds of pages of information to further your knowledge. I believe that it is very important to take a entire page to address certain issues, and especially give credit to certain agencies, that normally a person skips' when visiting a web site. Without their contribution the history porthole would never have come to pass.
