"Difference is Change" we can make a difference

Mission": W.O.R.D. Web sites Outreach Representing Difference. Our mission is to reach out to make the internet a safer place to travel. Sites posting our badge represent the highest of ethics, and morals on the internet that make a difference. Our pledge to the internet community is not one of "internet police" but one of comitment to our Internet family to keep complience to standards that a site posts. If a site is not family safe and posts PIC'S that say they have no : sexual content, no violence, not porn, according to the organizations we work with we contact the organization and launch a formal complaint. We have worked with ICRA and Safesurf to make a difference along with working with web site hosts that will not tolerate such materials on their hosting which have resulted in removing several sites from the Internet. To take the time to reachout through the Internet and visit sites that target young people with materials that are of adult content and are listed as 'family safe, family friendly is our goal in such a outreach. Web sites, webmasters standing...making a difference.

File a Complaint about a Website

Do you know of a site, or homepage that promotes smut or porn, adult materials, things children should not see, and is rated "Family Friendly"? Send us their name and we will follow through!  Place in subject box Abuse, make sure you include the website address. We will contact the site, and the hosting. Sometimes it takes us many repeat visit's with the complaint but we will not give up! Use the form below. After you submit the form you will be directed back  to our home page.

Website Outreach Representing Difference

There are many memberships today which you can label your website, our main goal is the Family mainly the CHILDREN. As adults we must be held accountable for the content of our websites, but also the content of websites throughout the world that target children with materials that are not for children, or promote hurt in any content to them.

In most paths of life, we welcome standards. They provide safety, uniform levels of acceptable performance and guidelines for behavior for all peoples of the world. But Standards observed for their own sake become legalistic and Pharisaical. However, Godly standards of dress, behavior, music, church order, separation, and yes even the Internet, we observed to please the Lord, and, formulated on the basis of scriptural principle, effectively set us apart as a peculiar people that live lives considered inscrutable by our peers. We all live by standards of some kind, formulated after some criteria discerned or not for that makes a difference in who we are and what we are.

MAKING a DIFFERENCE STANDING

If you copy a picture from a website, or an entire page, a sentence, or just one word, is it Stealing? If you take a penny or ten thousand dollars is it Stealing? In the world one might say, it was only a penny, or just one picture, the fact is though one was much and one was little they both were wrong and go against God's standard.

Choice, it seems that our world is full of that word. We can label it Freedom, or Rights, whatever we seem label it at the time, but in all things there must be order. It is ones right to worship as they choose, it is our basic freedom, but with liberty and freedom comes responsibility and there are those who use that blanket of cover to target children. Our nation was founded upon values and principles of "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" and that God is one of love and peace. I wonder what our forefathers of this country would say about what we allow today and justify it by labeling it "Freedom"?

Just as those who have claimed the right of this "freedom" we also have the same right to speak out about such things that harm children and families.

Having a website with materials that are family friendly and even called Christian, but yet linked to Websites that go against the Standard of God of the Bible, by posting that the website and webmaster is not responsible for the content outside their website is not exceptable to this membership. We believe the webmaster posts the link, and should know what is on the other end that they link to. This is compromise and that we will not except.

What happened to the "Family"? The same thing is happening to our CHILDREN?

We thank you for considering to make a "difference", for with difference there is a change and that change we can all help to achieve by taking a stand.

Websites only that are rated a difference by standing upon Godly standards and principles, and values found in the Word of God, the Bible, and by that Standard alone which has never changed and forever it will be will be considered for membership into W.O.R.D.

We support highly the membership's of which this website is part of, those Ethics, Values, and Pledges all come from the firm standard that has been passed down throughout the ages, as we all strive for the same common good of all mankind and the protection of internet surfer's especially our children.

No linking from the site to materials that go against our Criteria and The Standard of this Program.

No password protected areas or membership areas unless approved by our staff and visted for we must know what goes on behind closed doors.

There is no compromise, no opinion, only the truth. Copyrights, ethics,disclaimers,mission,applications,graphics, code, it all comes from some standard, but where did that STANDARD come from in the first place? It seems that Moses was given a set of rules long before the internet that our award programs and websites incorporate today and label it copyrights, ethics, and so on.
