No journey no award 7.disqualified-Copyright statement is a must to continue your journeyNo copyright or privacy statement, update,  or a Mission statement relating to what you are trying to share on your website? If you life in the United StatesYou must also have the COPPA link from your site and information about the act. You must have a statement concerning the privacy of Children if your site is outside the United States about collecting information.

The Update statement on your site must have a date. We don't require you to list your updates but a good web master always wants to post the updates to a site.

No journey no award8.disqualified Copyright infringements or stolen graphics stops your journeyCopyright infringements or stolen texts or graphics? Credits listed to the proper owner of materials with permission of use? Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" [Explanation] is direct linking to a web site's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <img> tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, eBay auction listing, weblog, forum message post, etc.

Bandwidth refers to the amount of data transferred from a web site to a user's computer. When you view a web page, you are using that site's bandwidth to display the files. Since web hosts charge based on the amount of data transferred, bandwidth is an issue. If a site is over its monthly bandwidth, it's billed for the extra data or taken offline.

Bandwidth or hotlinking is stealing just as a theif and your journey will endA simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it. [ With  permission from the program or site like using translating or accessibility from the web site a return link we will accept.]

This is how you might display an image graphic file in the HTML on your own web page. In the light blue is the http of the image: <img src="image.jpg" height="350" width="200">This tag tells the site to request the file image.jpg on the same server as the rest of the files on the site. If you were to hotlink an image from an outside server, the HTML might look like this:
<img src="http://notmysite.com/image.jpg" height="350" width="200">This tag tells the site to request the image.jpg from a different server other than your own. Every time the page is loaded, the outside server has to use its bandwidth to display the image.
Posting of pictures or graphics from another site without permission to do so is also stealing bandwidth and your journey will stop and you will be disquailified for a period of 1 year. (Exceptions: if you own several sites and link from each of them then you own them and that is not stealing, if you are given permission we must contact the site you are linking from.  We find that sites that do have this have several of the src's that are hotlinking without permission and that is stealing.    This program uses a hotlink tester

No journey no award14.disqualified- No applications will be accepted from free servers. Must have own  registered  domain URL? [Explanation] htt://mysite.bravehost.com  The Domain Name System (DNS) helps users to find their way around the Internet. Every computer on the Internet has a unique address - just like a telephone number - which is a rather complicated string of numbers. It is called its "IP address" (IP stands for "Internet Protocol"). IP Addresses are hard to remember. The DNS makes using the Internet easier by allowing a familiar string of letters (the "domain name") to be used instead of the arcane IP address. URL simply means your address. http://--------------.  It can be .com   .net  . org  .us examples below.
