Why we place all ages together? Helping others was something that Jesus did on a daily basis. He was constantly approached by people, but He always found time to stop what He was doing to help those in need. This is a lesson that we must learn if we want to be anything like Jesus, our savior. This is why we try and get the older children to help with the young children. The older children are like the teacher having many little volunteers helping out. Children teaching children. Yes 5 year olds with 10 year olds. The older kids finish their projects earlier than the younger kids, and then help them finish their instruments. Most of the time the teacher will not have to incourage this or even say anything, the kids just pitch in and start helping. Children learn by example, and Jesus was that example.
