How the program works: There are four Elements in the program. Three are teaching elements and a fourth one is called Unwind time where the children get to bound together as they have refreshments. The children learn to play together in unity called Ensemble time. One group will play melody and the other group will play rhythm with the instruments the children handcraft. Mr. Clef that you see below is the character of the program who leads the way in the lessons. The classes are 1 hour a week for 12 weeks. Below are examples of the lessons, biblical instruments,exercises.
 
Mr. Clef (In our program how things tie together the Dove makes it's home in the 'Clef' of the Rock. In the oldtime hymn Rock of Ages Clef for me let me hide myself in thee. So Mr. Clef his name works as a clef in music but also has Biblical meaning just as this entire program works with the Bible to teach children music and music to teach children the Bible.) In this program we use the number Three. This number is used throughout the Bible and in music it is important because three form a chord, and in the Bible The Trinity is Father,Son, and Holy Spirit.(Three in One) The number three was used by Jesus to show completion, "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up" Jesus told the Jews. All three elements, testings, the judgments, and the resurrections can be seen in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord. In the first lessons we use numbers rather than letters for the notes. And colors for their values. We have found that the children learn the numbers and relate to them faster than if we use the notes from the beginning. Also in the exercise teaching the BIBLE the numbers relate to the Bible more than the notes.
During the weeks of this program the numbers are replaced slowly with the letters, and in the second part of the program all the numbers are replaced with the notes. Music is related to numbers just as math, and we have found that starting with the numbers helps to teach the children how time values work. Rather than starting with a whole note, half, quarter, by use of numbers and colors first, the children learn the notes from the value first. Since this is the only program like it in the world teaching the Bible using Music the Bible deals with numbers not notes. Children relate to colors and numbers, and it works in teaching children the Bible. This program is a musically correct program and teaches children music, but the approach is different.
