Biblical Handbells In ancient times the handbell was played as a musical instrument. These bells were made from metal. The preists in the temple also had bells upon their garments.In Exodus 28:33 the bells alluded to were the golden ones, according to the rabbis 72 in number, round the hem of the high priest's ephod.  The object of them was "that his sound might be heard when he went in unto the holy place, and when he came out, that he die not" (Exodus 28:84; Ecclesiastes 24:9).

 Biblical Harp from Ur In ancient times the harp was played with the hand while walking. It had multiple strings and sometimes a sounding board, as with this harp excavated in the ruins of ancient Ur, where Abraham originally lived. Notice this harp has 11 strings with a nicely ornamented sounding board with a ram's head at the end. The harp was used by David as he played "annointed" music for the King.

Biblical Horns In ancient times the horn was a musical instrument and used to call the people together. Horns were used by the Romans in parades and celebrations.
Biblical Lutes In ancient times the lute was used as a musical instrument much like the harp. The present day guitar is said to have came from the lute.
 Biblical Shakers,Rattles In ancient times the Sistrum or rattle was a musical instrument used in processions.
Biblical Tambourines (Timbrels) In ancient times the tambourine was a musical instrument and was used by dancers and in celebration of events. Mostly the women played the timbrels as they danced. 
Biblical Triangle Instrument In ancient times the triangle was a musical instrument. 
Biblical (Temple) Trumpets/Shofars In ancient times the trumpet was long and made of metal. It was used to call the people to assembly. In the Bible it talks about the dead in Christ shall be awakened by the sounds of the trumpet.  The Psalmist wrote: " Praise him with the sounds of the Trumpets". The walls of Jericho came down, the sounds of the Shofars lead the armies into battle. References in the Bible to Trumpets

Even in the condition of slavery the Jews sprang forth with a song from their hearts. For we all were created to give that praise to God from our inter being.  In times of joy or times of sorrow we must learn to praise God in all things, and this is an example of such.
