We Could translate this verse as Malachi 4:2 ‘‘But unto you that fear My Name will the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in the corners of His cloak". Of course the corners or WINGS hold the Tsitsit. The prophecy was litterally fulfilled in the healing ministry of Yeshua (Jesus) Authority and the Tallit.
As we study the tallit begin to understand that every time in OT or NT A Jewish person’s outer garment is mentioned it is actually a Tallit The prophets Shmuel [Samuel], Eliyahu [Elijah], and Elisha are each noted in scripture as wearing a TallitMost English Bibles designate it as a mantle. King Sha’ul [Saul] tore Samuel’s kah-naf m’il-lo -corner of his cloak -Tallit (I Samuel 15:27),Saul recognized Samuel because of his Tallit (I Samuel 28:14).
Hebrew word used of Elijah’s Tallit is ah-dar-toe - Ah-dar-to comes from the word adayr, which is one of several Hebrew words for glory or honor ah-dar-to mean Tallit of glory. Why is it called ah-dar-toe?Given this name by scribes who recorded his exploits Because of the wonders he and Elisha performed in it and with it.
2 Kings 2:8 Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. Elijah used his Tallit at the Jordan River to re-enact the miracle of the Joshua’s crossing the Jordan Elisha then repeated the same event after receiving Elijah’s Tallit (II Kings 2:14). At first thought, the use of the Tallit in this way may seem irreverent. However, rather than acting inappropriately, Elijah and Elishia demonstrated the connections to the power the Tallit represent. Spiritual power (See also Faith/Substance) is directly proportional to holiness Tallit is a God ordained symbol of His holiness. Symbol has great authority when used in conjunction with faith.
2 Kings 19:19
Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle (ah-dar-toe) on him.
Authority demonstrated by the Tallit is also evident in the call of Elisha For this reason, Elisha would not leave Elijah Until he could himself receive his Tallit As the symbol of any wministerial authority and divine call. The Tallit is the mantle of the prophets Should be careful consideration before its use in any KJV Zechariah 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew,saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.Skirt – kanfot –corner of the garment – place where the tzittzit are Today in this and other MC's where Jews and Gentiles worship together. The Jewish MC/s leading we are participating in the fulfillment of the prophesy found in Revelation 19:11. " Then I saw heaven opened, and there before me was a white horse. Sitting on it was the one called Faithful and True, and it is in rigteousness that he passes judgment and goes to battle.
12 His eyes were like a fiery flame, and on his head were many royal crowns. And he had a name written which no one knew but himself. 13 He was wearing a robe that had been soaked in blood, and the name by which he is called is, “THE WORD OF GOD”. 14 The armies of heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 And out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down nations—“He will rule them with a staff of iron. ”It is he who treads the winepress from which flows the wine of the furious rage of Adonai, God of heaven’s armies.
16 And on his robe and on his thigh he has a name written: “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”. In this account we see the most awe-inspiring picture of Messiah
Returning to earth in great power and glory to take His Kingdom. He is returning to Israel and Jerusalem, Gather together His holy ones from all parts of the earth. It is the Scene of the final redemptive battle. The way Messiah appears is especially important in this passage. Twice the fasion of His garments are mentioned the first in Revelation 19:13. And He was clothed with a vesture (himation) dipped in blod: Revelation 19:16, And He has on His vesture (himation) and on His thigh a name writtenk KING OF KINGS and LORD OFLORDS. (Himation ( vesture). is used twice here, this is the Greek word which refers to the Hebrew word Talit. HisTalit is thus a definite symbol of His ministry.
In this case a symbol of the restoration of His Kingdom. This imagery points to Yeshua’s two ministries: His death as the Lamb and His victory as the Lion. A lamb has its blood shed, as His was A lion sheds blood, as He will do at His coming. The red Tallit signifies the blood that must flow at both pointsof Messiah's visitation to the earth.
Other symbolism
At His death, the profane took His Talit and desecrated it. This was the robe that the soldiers gambled for At His coming, the profane of the world will be destroyed While He wears the Talit. His Tallit was taken from Him as His life was given. Soon His Kingdom will be restored while He is adorned and adored in His Tallit. In ancient times the blue cord was dyed using a liquid derived from a certain mollusk. The mollusk seemed to become extinct. Shortly after the visitation of Yeshua and then Israel's temporary dispersion. Because of the loss of the blue dye. For centuries theorthodox Yehudim(Jesish people) have refrained from dying the blue cord . Thus the Tsitsit remained all white. It is also significant that this has been the case for during the time of Messiah has been separated from Israel. Now recent reports say the special mollusk has returned. The orthodox are beginning to dye the Tsitsit again!. Wow...
Can we expect His return soon?
He is the blue cord. A sign of the restoration of israel and all things spoken of by Kefa (Peter) in Acts 3:20, that He may send Messiah, Yeshua..whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things which God has spoken by mouth of His holy prophets since the world was. IA sign of the unification of Israel, my Jewish people, with our Messiah.
It is undoubtedly one of the fulfillments of the restoration having begun.
