And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:1)

There is a saying that has been passed down many a year. Garbage in......Garbage out.  We must train our children in the 1. Word of God. (Knowledge of the Word)  2. We must place within their hearts and minds Positive Qualities and open to a personal relationship with God.  3. We must train them to rely on the power of The Holy Spirit, not SELF as the world teaches.

"If children are taught peace, they show peace, if they are taught to hate, they hate, if they are taught about love, they love, if they are taught self, they are selfish, if they are taught to give they are heroes."  D.w.

They are watching us, as we set examples that could change their lives forever. Just take a moment and look at how we as adults are living. Our own values and morals. We have become a world of do what you want, go where you want and justify it in our own minds.  I remember a professional told a family member one time in a session, you have to do what's best for you and nobody else.  This is not the fabric that Jesus and any Hero would live by.

Why are our youth today in this state of mind?

“I have seen depression, anger and loneliness in millions of students across the country without direction or purpose, “The youth are crying out for something to stand for, something to believe in.” And we as examples much teach them what those examples are.....we can make a difference....we must make a difference!

This is the words that are so true the only thing that is wrong is missing the real point, Jesus.....When you change your mind, it will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

The pattern of this world is conforming the minds of our Children. We are warned that what goes into the body, becomes part of the body. What our eyes look upon, our mind opens up to. Our children are attacked through T.V. Music,Radio,Video Games, Movies, and to many other things to mention. Dealing with broken families, divorces, single parents, values of the world, how can we help to make a difference?   You can start by letting God renew your mind first then you will be able to make a difference in the lives of others.

In the Bible, Paul tells us how we can find out what God's will is for us--in other words, how we can know what God wants us to do. And, of course, we want to do God's will, because we love Him. So what does Paul teach us?

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. --Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Children today are faced with pressures of others just to be part of the crowd.

Substance what foundation we are building our childrens future upon ?

Well, what does it mean for us not to conform to the pattern of this world? It means we shouldn't act like everyone in the world just for the sake of "fitting in" or being like everyone else. Instead, Christians are to be transformed or changed by renewing their minds .This is a great poster that is given away to use free. The building blocks of hate, peace must be taught. Remeber the definition above frame of mind? Think about it?

Peace must be taughtBack

Wow!  So then how could we possibly renew our minds? That sounds impossible, doesn't it? Well, it's not. To renew our minds, we simply have to be careful what we are "feeding" our minds and the minds of our children. What we are allowing them to watch on Television, what they read, the movies they watch, the sites they surf on the net, who their friends might be. Yes it must be a choice but it also is our choice of these infulences in their life at a young age

. There is an expression, "garbage in--garbage out." If we give our minds ungodly things to think about, then our behavior is very likely to match those  kinds of thoughts sooner or later. But if we fill our minds with good things,  and meditate upon them, then it becomes so very much easier to act in ways which makes God and us happy. Think about all of the different ways you spend your time. Are you filling your mind with good things or bad?  If you watch certain T.V. shows about hate, violence, killing, sex, occultic, then that is what your mind is taking in.  It is found all around us today on the news, how many good things do we see compaired to things that are bad in our everyday life that we are surrounded with and the reporters report on. Just take a min to think about this very day and what you have placed into your mind from what you have read, or seen in the world you walked today?

This is a war that we are fighting everyday, the devil wants our children for they are the future. If you take a visit to a video store, look at the movie titles, then perhaps the games that our children play on their home machines, and then just browse through the records or go through the books at a bookstore. Even the things we as Christians think are not so bad, think again. Harry Potter, and all this 'white magic'. Here in West Virginia at a local high school they now allow WICCA clubs but yet PRAYER is not allowed in school?

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Satan's strongholds are thoughts. If the devil can get you to entertain his thoughts fear, anxiety, doubt, apprehension, and so on, he can have a doorway to controlling your mind.
He will put a ring in your nose and lead you around if you let him, but, we don't have to let him. The Word of God tells us how to be victorious. It shows us how to be more than conquerors in Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.

James 4: 6-8 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'' Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

To simply try and resist the devil without doing the rest of what this Word says is to be taking it out of context. Vs. 8 says Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Double mindedness is another way of saying you are wishy washy when it comes to what you believe, or that you are not settled in your spirit that the Word of God is true. There is a cure for that. Find out what God's Word has to say, and then hear it, meditate on it,
let it take root in your spirit. Let faith arise in your heart.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Double-mindedness is quoting the Word of God with your mouth and not really expecting it to come to pass your allowing doubt and unbelief to be your ruler.

Romans 10: 9-10. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.
If you really don’t believe God's Word concerning a thing, and just think that if you have a good confession concerning what ever you desire, that it will come to pass, you're amiss.
Fear, doubt, anxiety, and other such tools of the devil come to us through our mind. To try to stand against such things without first having our minds renewed with the Word of God is going to cause failure and a defeated attitude. In order for us to appropriate the victory purchased for us by the Lord Jesus Christ, we must first renew our minds with the Word of God, and begin to look at ourselves as God looks at us.

Psalms 1:2-3. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither And whatever he does shall prosper.
