This program supports the COPPA laws and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Of April 21, 2000. This program has chosen to except no applications for our award program or W.O.R.D. or any website from anyone under Eighteen (18). |
C.O.P.P.A. stands for the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. In general, it states that we (the web site) cannot collect any personal information - name, address, telephone number, or email address - from any child under the age of 13.
As a Christian Program for Children we take children's privacy seriously. Keyboards for Christ does not cater to children directly but our program is designed for teachers, churches, schools , we understand that music and instruments are something children are interested in and our web site is one that children under the age of 13 may come across while surfing the web. In an effort to do our part to protect the privacy of children using the internet, as well as to be in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), it is Keyboards for Christ Music Program and Keyboards for Christ Website's policy to refrain from the collection, use or disclosure of personal information from persons under the age of eighteen (18). We recognize that does not prevent an underage child from contacting us. We feel strongly that ultimately it is the responsibility of the parent(s) to monitor their child's web surfing. This site is a Family Friendly Site and the materials there in are for all ages. For further information please visit the Coppa Website by clicking on the Badge above.
