This perhaps has been the hardest thing for me to do. Yes to write about myself. I humble myself before you as you read on about my life. Even though perhaps I have accomlished many things in my lifetime It has all been a gift from God. The desires of ones heart...I dreamed of becoming a concert artist and then one day there I was. The other artists working at Wurlitzer had degrees in music, and even one was from London England who played in the royal Queens orchestra and here I was a self taught musician from the foothills of West Virginia.  To God I give all the glory, honor, and praise for He has been the true artist of my heart and life.  I also praise God for my parents who supported me, my dad who drove me around when I was to young to drive, who cried for me and with me, who celebrated the joys of life.  To such great treasures from God my mom and my dad.  The gift of my dad was given back to God in September of 2007.

From Bugles to the Union Army in the Civil War to the First Smart Bomb of WWII Wurltizer has been a legacy in the music industry and a patriot to our Country. I was honored to work for this leader in the music industry for nearly 5 years touring the United States. Wurlitzer...music to millions indeed.

Dan and his father Bill Wheeler at a local fair in the 70's This page is a dedication to my dad. The music you can not turn off. I have done this in his honor for when I was 9 years old we sang this song together.
My Dad who supported the gift of music I sadly miss and praise God for the importance this man played in my life, both spiritually and musically.  He went home to be with the Lord in September of 2007. He took me around when I couldnt even drive, transporting a organ and Leslie speaker, from the first album's I recorded to the very day's I left on Jets to fly all around the country, his prayers, and presence were always there. I so miss him deeply, but celebrate and give thanksgiving to God for such a gift, such a example.
