Coppa
The Update statement on your site must have a date. We don't require you to list your updates but a good web master always wants to post the updates to a site.
8. Copyright infringements or stolen texts or graphics? Credits listed to the proper owner of materials with permission of use? Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" [Explanation] is direct linking to a web site's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <img> tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, eBay auction listing, web log, forum message post, etc.
Bandwidth refers to the amount of data transferred from a web site to a user's computer. When you view a web page, you are using that site's bandwidth to display the files. Since web hosts charge based on the amount of data transferred, bandwidth is an issue. If a site is over its monthly bandwidth, it's billed for the extra data or taken off line.
A simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it. [ With permission from the program or site like using translating or accessibility from the web site a return link we will accept.]
This is how you might display an image graphic file in the HTML on your own web page. In the light blue is the http of the image: <img src="image.jpg" height="350" width="200">This tag tells the site to request the file image.jpg on the same server as the rest of the files on the site. If you were to hot link an image from an outside server, the HTML might look like this: <img src="http://notmysite.com/image.jpg" height="350" width="200">This tag tells the site to request the image.jpg from a different server other than your own. Every time the page is loaded, the outside server has to use its bandwidth to display the image. Posting of pictures or graphics from another site without permission to do so is also stealing bandwidth and your journey will stop and you will be disqualified for a period of 1 year. (Exceptions: if you own several sites and link from each of them then you own them and that is not stealing, if you are given permission we must contact the site you are linking from. We find that sites that do have this have several of the src's that are hot linking without permission and that is stealing. This program uses a hot link tester
9. Multiple blank pages or 404 error Codes? [Xenu's checker] [Explanation]: 404 Not Found The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable. Sometimes a site may show many broken links or blank pages in the checker and we will go and check each page one at a time. There are many error codes and sometimes the checker list's codes that are not important to your journey.
10. Having to download additional software to view your site? [Explanation] That we may also need additional software to view different kinds of materials posted on your web site (e.g. Acrobat Reader, PowerPoint, etc. including view streaming content, such as audio, video, animations, and media presentations).
11. Do not have a separate awards won page '[s] ? A good web site honors the programs that award their site.
12. - Not having A way to contact the webmaster or owner from several places upon a site. Not just one contact page within a entire web site. [Explanation] E-mail address showing how to contact the web master or owner. Web master: shalomtoyou321@aol.com. A good web site always has a way for a visitor to contact them. We would prefer a means of contact on each page of the web site.
13. -Any Password protection or member only areas? Exceptions to this will only be if the evaluators feel that there is enough content on the site and judges are given passwords to enter the areas to review their contents. If we can not visit this area of your site then we consider it 'hidden' and your journey stops here.

[Explanation]: What does it mean to "Password Protect" a site or gallery? When a site or gallery is "Password Protected", that means the site or gallery requires a password in order to enter. An artist can password protect when they wish to only display their work to a select group of persons. This is useful for artist's who do commissioned work. For example, a photographer can give a client access to a gallery which displays work from a private photo session, allowing only that client to select and purchase prints. No one can access a password protect site or gallery unless they have the password. (read conditions above) We do not consider a site that asks for a registration for program[s] or information first before directing them to the materials a password protection. Our judges will go and look at such information. Our judges will register just as other's must do. If registration takes time please forward us the proper address when we request it so that we might visit such to keep our evaluation within the 7 days we state. If we find the information improper or not within the ratings and family safe guidelines and pics you will be disqualified for a period of 1 year from our program and posted on the W.O.R.D. list.
14. - No applications will be accepted from free servers. Must have own registered domain URL? [Explanation] htt://mysite.bravehost.com The Domain Name System (DNS) helps users to find their way around the Internet. Every computer on the Internet has a unique address - just like a telephone number - which is a rather complicated string of numbers. It is called its "IP address" (IP stands for "Internet Protocol"). IP Addresses are hard to remember. The DNS makes using the Internet easier by allowing a familiar string of letters (the "domain name") to be used instead of the arcane IP address. URL simply means your address. http://--------------. It can be .com .net . org .us examples below.
