I am proud to bear the "Wheeler" name. I got it from my father, it was all he had to give, so it's mine to use and cherish, for as long as I may live. If I lose the watch he gave me, it can always be replaced. But a black mark on this name, my dad told me it can never be erased. It was clean the day I took it, and a worthy name to bear, when I got it from my father, there was no dishonor there. So always I will make sure and guard it wisely. After all is said and done Im glad the name is spotless, As I also pasted it onto my sons. Memories, the Sunday dinner's after church the smell of the roast from the oven, and the freshly baked bread and pies, the garden that my mom so cherished for so many years and taught us how to can the tomatoes, and green beans. Learning the lessons of life to be for others and not for self. What a blessing from God, a real treasure, and gift to me, of family. I share this page with you in honor of my dad who went home to be with the Lord in September of 2008.
