The Circle of Life Youth Program (John 8:12) 12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Jesus is the Light of Life. A simple mission statement of this youth program You can become a light to others walking in darkness... Like all our programs we give you lesson materials and instructions in the program free. Detailed information so that you can start up your own Circle of Life Youth Program But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 During every week we incorporate fire from the Bible and its meaning to youth. The use of fire in the Bible right up to the End Times. WIth Pastor Dan's STS method the youth can see, feel and touch. They can throw their fears into the fire and let God consume them and replace them with faith, they can throw a branch into the fire and watch it burn in relationship to: If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned" (John 15:5-6 showing the youth that we must abide in Jesus Christ which also is part of the mission statement above.[Abide in his teachings]. Some other scriptures that we teach from. of his glory (Ex. 13: 21-22; Ezek. 1: 4, 13; Ezek. 10: 6-7; Dan. 7: 9; Dan. 10: 6);
of his holiness (Deut. 4: 24; Heb. 12: 29);
of his presence to protect (2 Kgs. 6: 17; Zech. 2: 5);
of his judgments (Isa. 66: 15-16; Zech. 13: 9; Mal. 3: 2; 1 Cor. 3: 13);
the punishment of the wicked (Matt. 18: 9; Matt. 25: 41; Mark 9: 43-48; Rev. 19: 20; Rev. 20: 10, 14-15; Rev. 21: 8);
of the Holy Spirit as a purifying agent (Matt. 3: 11; Luke 3: 16); as tongues of fire (Acts 2: 3).
On the altar there was a perpetual fire, replenished with wood every morning (Lev. 6: 12; Lev. 9: 24; 2 Chr. 7: 1, 3), which consumed the burnt sacrifice and the incense offering.
Fires are usually always noticed. They draw attention. Is this not also the case with the fires of anger or love? An angry person rarely keeps their anger to themselves. They are like a spark. They will usually ignite, agitate others until a conflict (fire) occurs. In the same way, one burning with love and compassion, which is like a fire, will spread God’s flames of kindness, melting the hearts of those around them. The Circle of Life Drum Circle One youth took the song that is heard at sports games "We will rock you and said why can't I use it to say "God will rock you"!. Left right clap clap. [ Left hand center, right hand center, hands up clap clap repeat] By the youth creating their own patterns it brings into this program the expression of ones own self, to the Lord. Allowing the youth to 'feel what they feel as they learn to worship. We all must worship on our own levels and bring our sacrfice of praise to God almighty. This program has truly touched my heart to watch the youth ask God to listen to their heart's as they cry out to him in celebration, prayer, and need, learning to work together in UNITY and for Others. Pastor Dan Wheeler teaching the youth a new pattern from the rim to the center a basic three pattern. 1-2-3 . The patterns can be combined with others in this unique fashion. Listening to the 'heartbeat" of God as they ask God to listen to their hearts.
