These children are following the example of the program The Televison aired for the first broadcast in 1936. Times have indeed have changed from Elsie the cow to what our children watch today. Then came the decission by our Supreme court on June 17th, 1963 like that of the Biblical rejection of the people of Israel to God's law. The reverential Bible reading and prayer recitation was kicked out of American Schools. The American Atheist celebrated this event, thus it began. DId you know that today a child watches 4 hours of Television each day and by the time they are 18 that they have absorbed 15,000 to 20,000 hours. So then why should one wonder why their is so much violence in the world. It is plain rebellion as the people of Israel rebelled against the law of God. So just think with the coming of computers and the internet, video games and movies that are made affordable to rent and purchase, then there is comic books, and cards, and so on. It is said garbage in...garbage out! Children are continuously in a learning mode. They try new things, which normally tries the nerves of adults. When children try a dangerous or disrespectful thing, it requires swift correction from an adult. Liberals, however, try to tell us that youngsters should be allowed to find their own way by trial and error. Well, if you're a parent, think about that for a while. That's stupid! It is Respect For instance, I have trained many children in the proper care and use of firearms. And, there was never any doubt by any child that, if they ever pointed a weapon in an inappropriate manner, they would quickly get smacked by me. Some got smacked, but never more than twice. To teach shooting requires a lot more than just how to hit a target. As we saw in the news last year, a few of today's young people think that anything that moves is a good target. Including people. They were taught to shoot. But, they didn't learn respect. Now, instead of getting smacked up side the head a couple times, they'll get prison -- or death. Adults teach kids that attitude with the nightly carnage update in living color on the news, the extreme violence on television and in the movies, and the modern games we provide them. So it's no wonder some children (and now young adults) are almost completely desensitized to violence. Kids are inundated with violence nearly everywhere they turn. It's not really surprising that some of them act out what they see. And when disturbed kids try to act out what they see, we hear the big lie from media liberals: there are too many guns in society. Yet, those same media liberals will take absolutely no personal responsibility for their part. Rather, they prefer to harass a hundred million honest gun owners. Or, better put, they want to use the full force of government's guns to disarm the American people. It is our choice to make a difference and stand up TEACHING CHILDREN WHAT REAL HEROES are made of.
