Blue is the colour symbolized (heaven). The curtains of the (Tabernacle) were woven with the blue along with purple and scarlet. it is also closely linked with gold of Divinity, excellence, and commandments (Jeremaih 10:if 9, Ezekiel 23:6, 27:7, 27:24). In Tanakh the robe of the Ephod, worn by the Kohen HaGadol and upon which the Ephod was placed, was all blue. It teaches us that Malkut Shamayim is the sanctuary of the Lord's priesthood. . Blue is color of tallit / tzi·tzit, (mantle), it is costly, high priest robes, The Israelites were commanded to place a thread of blue in the tzitzit of their tallit because they understood themselves to be "banim la-Makom, noble sons of the King of the Universe, “ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the God” Numbers 15:37-41. This color is made from the a species of shell-fish, the chelzon of the Hebrews, and the Helix ianthina of modern naturalist. Clothing of blue was appropriate to persons of rank and was linked to dignity, excellence and command. (Jer 10:9; Ezek 23:6) . In Rev 21 :21 we see the Sapphire is crystal blue stone "The second is from heaven."; "He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all." (John 3:31) God is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He feels for us and sympathizes with us and minister to us from the Throne of Chesed (Grace) (Hebrews 4:16). We can see God’s handiwork by gazing upwards towards the Heaven.
