In our programs we teach children about colors.Green symbolizes: life, nature, fertility, well being Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is a safe color, if you don't know what color to use anywhere use green. Green represents GO.

moun·tain·eer n. 1. A native or inhabitant of a mountainous area. The mountaineer of West Virginia comes from the rugged Mountain men. The legends and feats of the mountain men have persisted largely because there was a lot of truth to the tales that were told. The life of the mountain man was rough, and one that brought him face to face with death on a regular basis--sometimes through the slow agony of starvation, dehydration, burning heat, or freezing cold and sometimes by the surprise attack of animal or Indian. The mountain man's life was ruled not by the calendar or the clock but by the climate and seasons. In fall and spring, the men would trap. The start of the season and its length were dictated by the weather. The spring hunt was usually the most profitable, with the pelts still having their winter thickness. Spring season would last until the pelt quality became low. In July, the groups of mountain men and the company suppliers would gather at the summer rendezvous. There, the furs were sold, supplies were bought and company trappers were divided into parties and delegated to various hunting grounds.

Like the Mountain man one must be prepared. So Preparation, packing, taking the things that are necessary for your journey are also important in This program. From here to the application your journey will take about 14 minutes of your time to follow through to the application. Yes there are some snippets called "Did you Know" about materials which you may think are not important in any award program, but again let us say we believe that to be honored with a web site award is to "make a difference" in what knowledge you had BEFORE you came and after you DEPART. The Dove Award Program is set up like a 'journey. Through out our program we do tend to go into detail about your journey. We feel that our award is more to just winning a web site award or being honored with a web site award. For really there is no award to offer to those who make a difference in someone's life, by touching their heart. You see there has been much detail that has gone into this program. From the number 7 to the very symbols and icons we use in our award graphics and through out our program. To make a difference is to come full circle...to a completion. We invite you to take some time and go through our entire program. If you are one of the few that are honored with "The Dove Award" you can be certain that you Made the difference. For from the eyes of those who come to your site will determine you journey, and that is what the Internet is really all about....those who visit our Internet homes.
