There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out Deuteronomy 18:10-12

This page is not directed at The Catholic church or Pope, Vatican or any other religion. I have many Catholic brothers and friends, as in other denominations. We have no right to tell any person if they are a 'true Christian, a real born again, for that Judgement is for God alone and no one knows the condition of ones spirit only God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  It is simply for your reference of the factual materials found and posted. I personaly find it distrubing according the The Bible.  Man seems to compromise over the thousands of years that Jesus Christ set up HIS church founded upon HIM alone. The Scriptures are very clear on things like Harry Potter indeed. We must all stand before God every one of us. You must desern all knowledge through the help and guidence of the Holy Spirit not by any man or woman, regardless of who they are. It is only by Jesus Christ that one will make it to heaven and the is very clear in the Bible.

The “book of life” (Revelation 20:12). It is this book that determines whether a person will inherit eternal life with God or receive everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. Although Christians are held accountable for their actions, they are forgiven in Christ and their names were written in the “book of life from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 17:8). We also know from Scripture that it is at this judgment that Jesus will judge “the dead according to their deeds” (Revelation 20:12) and that “anyone’s name” that is not “found written in the book of life” will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15).

The fact that there is going to be a final judgment for all men, both believers and unbelievers, is clearly confirmed in many passages of Scripture. Every single person will one day stand before Christ and be judged for their deeds. While it is very clear that the Great White Throne Judgment is the final judgment of Christ, Christians do disagree on how it relates to the other judgments mentioned in the Bible, and as to exactly who will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment.

Did Jesus Force Upon Us His teachings?

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never  knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Can you imagine just for a min. that all the people, I mean from a Pope to a minister, a Bishop, to just a ordinary person that we must all stand before GOD someday. Yes all of us. None is excempt or what the Bible teaches us is wrong?

Romans 14:10-13

Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

Since the beginning just imagine all the souls? Those who have thought that they have the only way, when in fact Jesus never forced anyone to bow before him on earth, it was a choice. So those who forced people to worship as the Romans did what will God say to them? Think about it? What has been their fruits over the centuries?

From Rome

Have we followed in the steps of the Roman Empire or of Jesus Christ?

If anything, the Romans had a practical attitude to religion, as to most things, which perhaps explains why they themselves had difficulty in taking to the idea of a single, all-seeing, all-powerful god.
In so far as the Romans had a religion of their own, it was not based on any central belief, but on a mixture of fragmented rituals, taboos, superstitions, and traditions which they collected over the years from a number of sources.
To the Romans, religion was less a spiritual experience than a contractual relationship between mankind and the forces which were believed to control people's existence and well-being.
The result of such religious attitudes were two things: a state cult, the significant influence on political and military events of which outlasted the republic, and a private concern, in which the head of the family oversaw the domestic rituals and prayers in the same way as the representatives of the people performed the public ceremonials.
However, as circumstances and people's view of the world changed, individuals whose personal religious needs remained unsatisfied turned increasingly during the first century AD to the mysteries, which were of Greek origin, and to the cults of the east. The beginnings of Christianity are very blurry, as far as historical fact is concerned.

Rome and Christianity

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Cor 13:4-7)

The birth date of Jesus himself is uncertain. (The idea of Jesus birth being the year AD 1, is due rather to a judgement made some 500 years after the even took place.)
Many point to the year 4 BC as the most likely date for Christ's birth, and yet that remains very uncertain. The year of his death is also not clearly established. It is assumed it took place between AD 26 and AD 36 (most likely though between AD 30 and AD 36), during the reign of Pontius Pilate as prefect of Judaea.
Historically speaking, Jesus of Nazareth was a charismatic Jewish leader, exorcist and religious teacher. To the Christians however he is the Messiah, the human personification of God.
Evidence of Jesus' life and effect in Palestine is very patchy. He was clearly not one of the militant Jewish zealots, and yet eventually the Roman rulers did perceive him as a security risk.
Roman power appointed the priests who were in charge of the religious sites of Palestine. And Jesus openly denounced these priests, so much is known. This indirect threat to Roman power, together with the Roman perception that Jesus was claiming to be the 'King of the Jews', was the reason for his condemnation. The Roman apparatus saw itself merely dealing with a minor problem which otherwise might have grown into a greater threat to their authority. So in essence, the reason for Jesus' crucifixion was politically motivated. However, his death was hardly noticed by Roman historians.
I
n AD 380 emperor Theodosius took the final step and made Christianity the official religion of state.
Severe punishments were introduced for people who disagreed with the official version of Christianity.

Furthermore, becoming a member of the clergy became a possible career for the educated classes, for the bishops were gaining ever more influence.
At the great council of Constantinople a further decision was reached which placed the bishopric of Rome above that of Constantinople.
This in effect confirmed the church's more political outlook, as until the prestige of the bishoprics had been ranked according to the church's apostolic history. And for that particular time preference for the bishop of Rome evidently appeared to be greater than for the bishop of Constantinople.

In AD 390 alas a massacre in Thessalonica revealed the new order to the world. After a massacre of some seven thousand people the emperor Theodosius was excommunicated and required to do penance for this crime. This did not mean that now the church was the highest authority in the empire, but it proved that now the church felt sufficiently confident to challenge the emperor himself on matters of moral authority.

IS THIS what JESUS would do?  Would he FORCE people to love him and worship HIM? Bring punishment? The Romans just incorporated another religion into their society to keep the people at hand? Was Constantine's dream a vision from GOD?  He built great temples to pagan Gods, then they changed to the Saints, the Disciples. Is this the church that Jesus Christ came to establish?  The chuch is not a building, a temple, for we as saved Christians are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Forced religion is not Freedom! Forced religion is not Jesus Christ's way...Forced religion is slavery!  simply that a religion is not a state religion today is in meer fact it is a world religion but the fact is in the words spoken if one says it is the only true Christian Church it is still a FORCED religion!

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

How Jesus Set up the Real One true Church

A church is a special kind of assembly of saved, scripturally baptized people who have covenanted together by the leadership of the Holy Spirit of God for the explicit purpose of worshipping and glorifying God, who is their eternal Saviour.

Why is all this confusion going on about which church is the right church? Because Satan knows the strength individual saved, scripturally baptized people can have when they assembly with each other. Satan understands the fellowship of believers is greatest in a local assembly.

Some people claim that Jesus Christ didn’t start His kind of church, but that isn’t what this verse says. It is clear that Jesus is God and that God is the Rock of Ages, not Peter or some other man. Anybody that tells you the church of Jesus Christ was started on the Day of Pentecost is either sadly mistaken, or is an outright deceiver. The Bible clearly states that Jesus will build His kind of church.

But the question this morning is not who started the church that Jesus built, but why did He start it?

A church, and being a member and a part of the true church of the Lord Jesus Christ is very important. God knows it, that is why Christ organized his kind of church during His personal ministry. Satan knows it, that is why he has caused so much confusion about what the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is and which church is the right church to join and be a part of.

Why is there so much confusion about which church is the right church? Because Satan knows where the power is, and Satan desires saved people to lack the power to properly worship and serve God. Satan has filled this world with false ideas about the church.

Listen, have you ever heard this statement - "One church is as good as another"? One church is not as good as another. Is one job the same as another? Is one car the same as another? Is one house the same as another? Is one doctor the same as another? Is one operation the same as another? (Operations are different - If I need an ingrown toenail removed, I don’t want brain surgery! If I have a heart attack, I don’t want to go to the dentist for a tooth exam.) Is one kind of medicine the same as all the other kinds? (If you have a headache, you need medicine for a headache. You don’t need medicine for polio.) Is one preacher the same as another? Is one pastor the same as another? Of course not. All things are different from all other things. That is why there are so many kinds of things. Churches are different, but God is the same.

Why are churches different? And why are there so many different kinds of churches in this world? Because Satan is the author of confusion. Satan knows that He can’t get God’s people to be lost once they are truly saved. He knows he can’t get the souls of saved people, but he knows he can get their lives. He knows he can cause a lot of confusion in the lives of saved people. Satan knows there is joy in the presence of the angels over one sinner that repenteth. There is joy in the presence of God, great contentment, lasting pleasure and endless happiness. Satan knows he cannot stop the church of the Lord Jesus Christ from continuing, because that is based on the promises of God, so he has decided to establish his own kind of church.

The church Jesus established is a local assembly of saved, scripturally baptized people. The church Satan established is a universal church that never meets together. Jesus knows His children need companionship with other believers. Satan knows that too. Jesus knows that believers find strength to fight Satan from other believers. Deut 32:30,31 states, "How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? 31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges." Because there is so much strength in believers gathering together to worship God and share with one another how God has blessed them, Satan does all he can do stop this fellowship. He has created his own universal invisible or universal visible church where believers cannot assemble.

How can I tell if a church is one of the kind of churches established by Jesus Christ? Now listen, the church Jesus build during His own personal ministry didn’t start at Pentecost. This is one way you can tell if a church is a true church or not. If a church claims to have started on the Day of Pentecost, they are actually saying they were not started by Jesus Christ during His own personal ministry. And Matthew 16:18 says that Jesus will build His own church, and that He will keep that church alive and well until the rapture.

Christ has started His kind of church, during His own personal ministry, and has promised this kind of church a continued existence until He comes back

This page and this ministry is posting the facts according to research and the Bible. There are Hundreds of churches who claim to be the 'one true church' have the one true way.  Jesus said " I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE".

We have not targeted any one religion. We hold all Christians up in prayer. It is man and his own doctrines that are exposed by the truth which is the word of God. Man has no right to say that "his" own denomination is the only real or true one. Christians those who belief in the living God and his son Jesus Christ are known to God and man has no right to deem who is, or who is not, this is judgmental and only God has such a right to judge, no one else or any such church has that right and in the Bible no such right is given. We are told by Jesus not to Judge. The text on this page is not for you to use or us to judge, it is simply the true facts printed by papers and text in the world we live. It is your right to deem what is the truth. We only suggest that you come with a open mind and pray that the Holy Spirit of God will reveal to your own heart the truth.

The biblical "church"

When the Bible uses the words "the church," it always refers to all those who trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, not just to members of the Catholic,Baptist,Methodist,Church of God or whatever name one may want to place upon 'the name' of their church:

"Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord..." 1 Corinthians 1:2

The Apostle Paul wrote:

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" Ephesians 5:25

Paul was not a Catholic, yet he knew that Christ loved him and died for him. Certainly, no one would dare say that Paul was not a Christian because he was not a Catholic.

Would anyone suggest that God only loves Catholics,Baptist,Methodist,Church of God, Christ,?... or that He only died for One people? Such would be the case if the Catholic,Methodist,Baptist,Pres,Luthern, or whatever church was the only church.

Paul also proclaimed:

"And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us..." Ephesians 5:2

OUR CHILDREN are becoming more and more into the world and justifying actions because our churches in all denominations accept the very pagan things that the Roman empire did to keep the peace of their peoples. Are we any better? You would have thought we would have learned and gained wisdom over those thousands of years. It distrubs me to see 'churches' in their Sunday Schools and Vacation Bible schools using water on tattoos of Christian symbols. Or churches celebrating a service in honor of what the Bible discribes as an abomination to God.

Lets follow          KJV: And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them

Is the ROCK!

Does Catholicism still teach that it is the one true Church founded by Christ? Many think not, but there is no denying the church's official position:

"This is the sole Church of Christ, which in the Creed we profess to be one, holy, catholic and apostolic." Pg. 214, #811

Referring to the Catholic church, the Catechism pronounces:

"In fact, in this one and only Church of God..." Pg. 216, #817

"First, the Church is catholic because Christ is present in her. Where there is Christ Jesus, there is the Catholic Church." Pg. 220, #830

This "one true church" doctrine can be traced to one verse of Scripture, which, when compared with other Scriptures, is found not to teach this doctrine at all. When Jesus asked his disciples who He was, Peter responded:

"Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matthew 16:16"

Then Jesus answered Peter:

"... thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18

Catholicism contends that the Lord was referring to Peter as the rock, and has since built the entire Catholic religion upon that premise. But all other pertinent Scriptures declare that Jesus was referring to Himself as the rock, not Peter:

"... for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ." 1 Corinthians 10:4

Jesus is not only the rock, He is the chief cornerstone of the church:

"And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;" Ephesians 2:20

Back in the Old Testament, it was prophesied that Jesus, whom men rejected, would become the cornerstone of the church:

"The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner." Psalm 118:22

Even Peter, allegedly the first pope, confesses that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the church:

"...by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth... This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner." Acts 4:10-11

"... the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner," 1 Peter 2:7

According to Scriptures, Peter is NOT the rock:

"For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?" Psalm 18:31

"... I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock..." Deuteronomy 32:3-4

"Truly my soul waiteth upon God... He only is my rock..." Psalm 62:1-2

"But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge." Psalm 94:22

The week of July 13th 2007 the Vitican agains speaks out with such knowledge to the world.

LORENZAGO DI CADORE, Italy - Pope Benedict XVI has reasserted the universal primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document released Tuesday that says Orthodox churches were defective and that other Christian denominations were not true churches.

Mr. Benedict XVI is right about one thing, that all churches including the Roman Catholic Church is defective indeed. The first Christian community was the Church of Jerusalem, not Rome. The word priest is never used in the New Testament for the leaders of the Church nor is the POPE. The words pastor, bishop, and elder are used, but never priest or pope.

The following is research the Rev. Daniel L. Wheeler has done about the influences of the world and church on our children. This article is not directed at the Vitican or the Catholic Church any more than the The Episcopal Church using a Harry Potter Bible School, or  Christianity Today article that says it is ok, or a pastor suggesting reading of these books. Somewhere we must stand back and take a good look in the mirror. To me when I study the word of God there is no compromise, magic is magic, like sin is sin. I have no right to say that you are or are not a Christian. It is not how I or you look at it, simply it is what the BIBLE say's about such things, cut and dry, plain and simple just as Jesus spoke the parables and we are told, you will know them by their fruits why is it so hard for us to see?

I make no judgements upon anyone. The Word of GOD is the truth and what it states about such things.  Since this is a childrens ministry we must search out what our children are taking in as the truth. And to set them free with the Word of God as a guideline.  Adults have the resposibility to train our children. The Mother and the Father, through the Word of GOD are to train their children. God sent Jesus into a FAMILY setting, not the church, not a temple, or school, but a FAMILY surrounding, and that is the TRUTH.  Just look at the church in the time of Jesus?  And look at the church now in this age. The age we call  New Age...perhaps a New Age but the same OLD LIE that was in the Garden of Eden. Parents must look to THE BIBLE to teach and guide their children in the WAY of the LORD, not rely on the WAY of the CHUCH alone.

[Back to the top of page]

Who are we to believe?

St. Paul told us... Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

  • Is Peter really the rock? The Catechism says he is, but God's Word says he is not.
  • Is the Catholic church the one true church? The Catechism says yes, but the Bible says no.
  • Do you really believe that all non-Catholics will burn in hell?

Once again, the answers to each of these questions will be determined by which you choose to believe... the traditions of men, or God' s Word. Jesus asked the Pharisees a question which all Roman Catholics should ponder:

"Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?" Matthew 15:3

You are the Church we are the church together...The Church that Jesus Christ established was not a building, or a church, true worship is in Spirit and in Truth.  You are a priest we together are the children of God. When Peter speaks of priesthood, he applies it to the whole people of God. Not just the Roman Catholic Church. "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 Pet. 2:9). As you can see, this expression "royal priesthood" refers to all of God’s people, not a special class of men.Not compromising to the world as the Romans conqured people they adjusted their beliefs into their state religion to keep all in the Empire happy. Remember that  One of the primary problems of early Christianity in Rome was that of heresy.
Heresy as generally defined as a departure from the traditional Christian beliefs; the creation of new ideas, rituals and forms of worship within the Christian church. This was especially dangerous to a faith in which for a long time the rules as to what was the proper Christian belief remained very vague and open to interpretation. The result of the definition of heresy was often bloody slaughter. Religious suppression against heretics became to any account just as brutal as some of the excesses of Roman emperors in suppressing the Christians.  Apart from building great monuments to Christianity, Constantine now also became openly hostile toward the pagans. Even pagan sacrifice itself was forbidden. Notice the compromise that Constantine showed. Pagan temples (except those of the previous official Roman state cult)  Constantine, however, had several problems with his new faith. The first was that there was no established doctrine. In fact, there were as many forms of Christianity as there were communities of Christians. The second was more pressing, for foundational Christianity was manifestly anti-political. Its founder, Jesus of Nazareth, consistently condemned worldly authority and insisted that the Christian life is a non-worldly, individualistic, non-political life. As a result, the foundational Christian texts are not only anti-Roman (for Judaea was part of the Roman Empire during the life of Jesus of Nazareth), but consistently dismissive of human, worldly authority. If Christianity were going to work as a religion in a state ruled by a monarch that demanded worship and absolute authority, it would have to be changed.

So now we have Change in the Church according to Rome not its founder Jesus Christ. We have not right to claim we have the ONLY way for there is ONLY one way. Each church denomination tends to through stones. But one can not hide the facts...the truth will set you free. Yes the Methodist, the Baptist, The Pres, The Luthern, No matter what denomination has sin within. Yes problems, it is not just the Catholic Church, one may say well how about all those priests and all the sexual abuse? Well hold on here friends it is found in all denominations. You can read about many preachers also that have contributed to sexual abuse of members and children. So don't toss stones here. One is no better than the other. But Praise God we all have a redemption, one who gives that amazing grace freely....Jesus Christ.

I would although ask the Pope these questions to one who claim to be the Only real Church without flaws? Are these such actions of the Only real Church [Universal] Church that Jesus Christ set his disciples up to carry the 'Good News"? Well you might say this is the past, but the past is the truth? It is recorded history?  Im sure Jesus would cut off a head, hands and yes gentials and dump them into a river?  Not the Jesus That lives in my heart!

Is it right to kill 200,000 people including Jews ordered by the Pope during the crusades? That is what Jesus would surley do?  Jesus said " You will know them by their fruit"  Jesus used Love to over turn evil, not hate and killing.

  • 15th century: Crusades against Hussites, thousands slain. [DO30]
  • 1538 pope Paul III declared Crusade against apostate England and all English as slaves of Church (fortunately had not power to go into action). [DO31]
  • 1568 Spanish Inquisition Tribunal ordered extermination of 3 million rebels in (then Spanish) Netherlands. Thousands were actually slain. [DO31]
  • 1572 In France about 20,000 Huguenots were killed on command of pope Pius V. Until 17th century 200,000 flee. [DO31]
  • 17th century: Catholics slay Gaspard de Coligny, a Protestant leader. After murdering him, the Catholic mob mutilated his body, "cutting off his head, his hands, and his genitals... and then dumped him into the river [...but] then, deciding that it was not worthy of being food for the fish, they hauled it out again [... and] dragged what was left ... to the gallows of Montfaulcon, 'to be meat and carrion for maggots and crows'." [SH191]
  • 17th century: Catholics sack the city of Magdeburg/Germany: roughly 30,000 Protestants were slain. "In a single church fifty women were found beheaded," reported poet Friedrich Schiller, "and infants still sucking the breasts of their lifeless mothers." [SH191]
  • 17th century 30 years' war (Catholic vs. Protestant): at least 40% of population decimated, mostly in Germany. [DO31-32]
  • YE without sin cast the first stone....?

Harry Potter   Bible School?

Enrollment has doubled!

But, asks the holy skeptic, at what cost? The Episcopal Church, along with other mainline denominations, has cheapened Scripture (which didn't work for church growth), discounted traditional Judeo-Christian morality (which also didn't work for growth), lowered standards of membership (again, didn't work), and has so confused a church in Pennsylvania that its members decided to try Harry Potter to see if witches, wizards, and magic might not work wonders for the appeal of Christ.

But ... enrollment has doubled!   Bible Schools, One true Church, Worship in honor of Harry Potter?  Today we are just like the Roman Empire.

Young teen with a tattoo of Harry Potter on a broomEven churches purchase tattoos that the children rub on their skin. They can be washed off but it is the example that we teach them as adults that they grow up to think it is ok. If the leaders of our churches say that Harry Potter is ok, and celebrate masses then children think everything is ok? Above is a picture of a tattoo on a young teens arm. Harry pottor on a broom. We must guide and train our children in the way of the Lord the Bible. And Stand firm upon this word.

Tattoos are just another sign of the times as people display an open disregard and rebellion towards the word of God. Overlooking sin as "art" emboldens many to put the markings of their god upon them and manifest their true love. They have the freedom to be deceived if that's what they love more than presenting their body a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God.

Christians must not get tattoos or body piercing because it does not keep with the ways and nature of God in Christ--the one we profess to follow. It is the same as other vices as well like: smoking, drugs, alcohol, plastic surgery, wearing jewelry, dying the hair, etc. Whatever the "world" likes as far as perverting God and His word we Christians should despise.

"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." (Luke 15:16)

Keep a guard over your heart for tattoos and such are to the satisfying of the flesh.

"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD." (Leviticus 19:28)

Recommended reading by James Emery White: "...White, founding pastor of Mecklenburg Community Church puts out a summer reading list each June.... [His list includes]  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows..... Though the seventh and final installment is yet to be released (July 21), when it does, it will be well-worth reading. Though some would disagree, I am one to put Rowling’s work in the camp of fantasy literature, along with Lewis and Tolkien, with her use of magic more mechanical than occultic. I found her earlier six volumes instant classics of the genre, and the final book will undoubtedly cement this series as among the best written

CHRISTIANITY TODAY PUBLICATION

Harry Beasts (from Christianity Today): "Books that are rich in symbolism necessarily support a Christian worldview.... [NO! Not true!]

"The Harry Potter stories, in their formulaic journeys that end every year with love's triumph over death in the presence of a Christ symbol, find their power and popularity in the resonance they create in our hearts. We connect with them because they point toward the Truth Myth that saves us. The gospel has rarely, if ever, been smuggled into the hearts and minds of readers so successfully and profoundly."

Wicca is the name for a contemporary pagan revival of witchcraft. Wicca is the name, and witchcraft is the game--and the Devil is laughing his head off. Wicca witchcraft calls itself "white witchcraft". This supposedly denotes that Wiccans only do "good" witchcraft. According to the Bible, there is no such thing as a good witch, “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, OR A WITCH” (Deuteronomy 18:10). Hence, based on the Bible, ALL witches are wicked--including Wiccans. So if a bunch of confused Wiccans tell you that white witches are good, who are you going to believe? Them or the Bible? New Age people are always talking about light and spiritual guides. These deceived people are talking about the Devil and his devils! They are not talking with "Ascended Masters" they are talking with the Devil and his minions.
CELEBRATING A MASS IN HONOR OF HARRY POTTER?

The Dutch priest, Fr. Joris Ridderbos, is right to celebrate a Harry Potter mass for children. Fr. Ridderbos says there are a lot of similarities between the story of Harry Potter and the life of Jesus. Now we compare Harry Potter to Jesus? And Spider man to the redeemer and trinity. What comes next a Mass in Honor of Spiderman, the savior of the world?

[Back to the top of page]

There is real DANGER on the horizon for our children. With Heroe's like Harry Potter and now even our Church father's supporting and not standing out against such books, and movies. Yes there has been repair articles to try and hide the real surrounding of the church. They have said, No we do not support magic, or Harry Potter. Yes indeed for sure, but why then even their preists celebrate a mass in Harry Potters honor? Faith and Family International a Catholic web site states in a article: I realize that many priests, Catholic periodicals, scholars, and even some bishops, think that Harry Potter is okay. And again in defense they say: There is just one problem with making a parental decision based upon the Vatican approval. The Vatican has never approved Harry Potter, and anyone who thinks so has been hoodwinked by a deceptive media. The headlines in quotation marks at the top of this article come directly from newspaper headlines. Similar headlines read: “The Vatican Backs Harry Potter;” “The Vatican is Giving Two Thumbs Up to the Harry Potter Series.” These headlines are false and misleading.  BUT why do they allow their priest to think it is OK, and their Bishops, Scholars and periodicals? IS not the Vitican the head of the church or Jesus Christ?

Somewhere along the many years, the simple truth of the Bible has been compromised by not wanting to make waves. If the disciples came back today for just a visit, they would shake their heads to see how we have adjusted our church fellowships to the world, so that we all can just get along? The first 200 years after Christ died and arose, the body of Christ came together for fellowship and worship in homes, they ate together, prayed together and gave thanksgiving to God for His son Jesus Christ.  Man and his denominations have taken upon themselves to bring God down to their own level, rather than reaching up to God for He is worthy. The church should take a good look at the 10-commandments of God, and humble themselves, and to place God's word the Bible into each of their members hands to read, then perhaps things would change. To me this saddens my heart like many other things that the Vitican has done in the name of God, but has it been according to The Word of God.  It is not for me to judge, only God can do that and it is through His Word that it is like a doubled edged sword indeed.

Sun Times Feb 4th 2003. Then a second time on Feb. 11th. Pope gives his blessings to Harry Potter author?

Vitican knows best article

Vitican says that Harry Potter's magic is Ok. Oh no this was not what they said. Ok lets say they did not say this. But the FACT is their Bishops, Scholars say it is ok and even they celebrate a MASS for Harry Potter, now is that OK?  For if  the Vitican to say its ok,  what the scripture's tell us against such is disturbing to say the least. How our children are taught in our churches about such things goes against the very scriptures that we all believe. It is time that we open our eyes and just see what is going on around us. How our children are being taught about what is right what is wrong. Hey if the Pope says Harry Potter is ok, then it is ok. Wrong, God says different about such. Read the Bible, Is the Vitican above the Word of GOD?

A woman wrote a e-mail upset about how we view Wicca. She wrote to complain that "your words and the words of the Christian Bible anger me deeply" because "Wiccans are all about nature and worship a goddess and/or horned god."

What does the Bible say about Wicca?

CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS AND RESEARCH MINISTRY Article below

The Bible is very clear about its condemnation of witchcraft and its various forms. Following is a partial list of passages from the Bible concerning witchcraft, seances, necromancy, and other such occultic practices.

  1. Divination and magic
    1. Lev. 19:26, ‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying.
    2. Isaiah 44:25, "Causing the omens of boasters to fail, making fools out of diviners, causing wise men to draw back, and turning their knowledge into foolishness."
    3. Acts 8:9,18-22, "Now there was a certain man named Simon, who formerly was practicing magic in the city, and astonishing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great . . . 18 Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was bestowed through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money, 19 saying, “Give this authority to me as well, so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” 20 But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money! 21 “You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. 22 “Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you."
    4. Acts 13:6, "And when they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a certain magician, a Jewish false prophet whose name was Bar-Jesus."
  2. Mediums
    1. Lev. 19:31, "Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God."
    2. Lev. 20:6, ‘As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people."
    3. Lev. 20:27, ‘Now a man or a woman who is a medium or a spiritist shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones, their bloodguiltiness is upon them.’”
    4. Isaiah 8:19, "And when they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?  20To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn."
  3. Necromancy - contacting the dead
    1. 1 Sam. 28 where Saul uses a medium to contact the dead.
  4. Sorcery - attempting to influence people through occult means
    1. Exodus 22:18, “You shall not allow a sorceress to live."
    2. Isaiah 47:12 14, “Stand fast now in your spells and in your many sorceries with which you have labored from your youth; Perhaps you will be able to profit, perhaps you may cause trembling. 13 You are wearied with your many counsels;
Let now the astrologers, those who prophesy by the stars, those who predict by the new moons, stand up and save you from what will come upon you. 14 “Behold, they have become like stubble, fire burns them; they cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame; there will be no coal to warm by, nor a fire to sit before!"
    3. Rev. 19:21, "and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts."
    4. Rev. 21:8, "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
    5. Rev. 22:15, "Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying."
  5. Witchcraft
    1. Deut. 18:10-14, “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 “For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you. 13 “You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. 14 “For those nations, which you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so.
    2. 2 Kings 21:6, "And he made his son pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and used divination, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord provoking Him to anger."  (see also 2 Chron. 33:6)
Did you know that perhaps you local high school has a Wicca club? In our local area there is a active teenage high school Wicca Club with some 70 practicing members. Did you know that Wicca is represented now like  a Religion. One young lady joined a local Wicca group in my home town of Wheeling Wv and posted this on the blog.

"I want these local Meetups because wicca is fascinating"

A young woman from Pittsburgh PA Writes:

"I want local Wicca Meetups because I cannot find any local Wiccans and I would like to have a group of people I can go to in this crazy Christian city."

Wicca and Witchcraft is nothing new, but with the introduction of the Internet and Articles like the one posted in the Chicago Sun opens the door to exceptance. How many parents do you think allows their children to watch Harry Potter, read the books. Even schools now endorse the books. Wow, and to see the Vitican say there is nothing wrong with it. Well the Bible I study say's different.  Children are being swept away right before us as we continue to allow this to burn like a forrest fire out of control.

Vitican says Harry Potter's magic is ok

                                                 FROM  THE WORD OF GOD.......
"There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out..." Deuteronomy 18:10-12

"Also he caused his sons to pass through the fire in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom; he practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft and sorcery, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger." 2 Chronicles 33:6
